Tea and Coffee Ship, Retail Store?
The SS Beaver could be turned into Victoria’s funkiest, historical Tea and Coffee “Ship”. With a new owner or investors with fresh and positive ideas, It would be very exciting seeing the ship finally coming back to life..
“The SS Beaver Tea & Coffee Ship” could serve refreshments and goodies from possibly the local businesses. We could also provide High Tea “Empress Style”. An ever changing display of artwork by local artisans and entertainment from some of our local talented musicians on occasion will add to the enjoyment of our patrons’ visits. We just finishing building a wonderful open aft deck enabling our patrons to view the beautiful Victoria Harbour while sipping their favourite coffee or tea
At the same time it would be advantageous to open retail space downstairs from the main salon, where patrons can purchase SS Beaver and Victoria Harbour souvenirs, t-shirts, books, charts and other memorabilia
The friendly professional staff would be fully trained, and maybe uniformed in nautical attire, to complete the overall fun and memorable experience aboard the SS Beaver.
The ship could be open every day, year round hours to be determined with the season, and weather. In the peak season from 7am to 10pm and in the off season from 10am to 6pm.
The historic SS Beaver is to be enjoyed and shared by all! “The proverbial tie on the suit which the Victoria Harbour wears so well”. the SS Beaver would like to be running as a tea and coffee shop.

The SS Beaver will attract more visitors and locals alike to our downtown business community. The SS Beaver to be Victoria’s only dockside tea and coffee shop, I mean “ship”, an educational, fun nautical venue and meeting place. The SS Beaver also gets free media coverage. We are the “SS Beaver” we can use this “free press”. promoting this exciting venture to the world.
SS Beaver wants to become, yet again an integral part of the past, present and future of Victoria's Inner Harbour.
